SEAOSF is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) charitable organization whose purpose is to promote, stimulate, and enhance the educational pursuits of structural engineering through cooperation with and the support of the design and construction community. SEAOSF is affiliated with, but separate from, the Structural Engineers Association of Oregon (SEAO).

Through the generosity of our members and sponsors, we are currently able to fund four financial scholarship awards to outstanding structural engineering students. The Don Kramer Memorial Scholarship is awarded to one of highest scoring applicants to continue the memory of Don’s excellent engineering skills, relation-building efforts with the construction industry, and service to SEAO.  The Susan M. Frey Memorial Scholarship is awarded to an outstanding applicant who exemplifies Sue's dedication to structural engineering with particular emphasis on teaching and mentoring.  Your support will enable us to continue to contribute to the future of structural engineering.

Scholarship applications for the 2023-24 academic year will be available in February of 2023.

SEAOSF Trade Show

The annual Tradeshow is moving to April. This is our largest fundraising event each year and an excellent opportunity for vendors supporting the A/E community to interface with our members. The upcoming event will be at the Monarch Hotel in Clackamas on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 from 5 to 8pm. We look forward to seeing you all there!
