PT Decks & Full Site Aerial Mapping

Over the last 11 years BD Aerial company has participated in many industries utilizing drone technology, and in the last 5 years has focused mainly on aerial mapping deliverables for construction. The deliverables produced from BD Aerial’s mapping service come in the form of high-resolution orthomosaic images with CAD overlays and/or planimetrics, high-density colorized point clouds, and DEMs/DTMs. These deliverables are produced and verified using a licensed photogrammetrist or Lidar specialist and tied to GPS survey or the local survey control of a specific project. Currently, BD Aerial’s service is being used mostly for pre-pour concrete PT decks and full site aerial surveying. During the lunch presentation, Brian will discuss the benefits of this technology and how his clients are benefiting from the deliverables.
