ABOUT THE PROGRAM
The 2009 IBC relies on ASCE 7-05, ACI 318-05, the 2005 MSJC Code, AISC 360-05, AISC 341-05 and AF&PA NDS-05. This seminar discusses how these standards differ with respect to the 2006 IBC, with particular emphasis on updated material standards, new structural integrity requirements, revisions to ASCE 7-05 seismic provisions, revised live loads, revised wall anchorage requirements, new alternate all heights wind design method, new rainfall intensity maps, new special inspection requirements and the reorganization and reformatting of Chapter 18 thereby keeping the designer up-to-date with the latest structural engineering standard practice.
