The Structural Engineers Association of Oregon, SEAO, is a non-profit volunteer professional organization whose purpose is to provide a forum for structural engineers in Oregon to interact, improve their technical knowledge and professional skills. Members of SEAO receive monthly newsletters and are encouraged to attend monthly meetings and seminars with speakers that cover a variety of technical issues concerning practicing structural engineers. In addition to providing a forum for structural engineers to improve their skills, SEAO works to encourage practice in accordance with the highest ethical and professional standards. To carry out the purpose of this organization, SEAO has a variety of volunteer Committees. These Committees work to address technical, legislative, and professional issues affecting SEAO members.
