Otak, Inc. is seeking an Engineer for our Vancouver, WA office to become an integral part of our Portland metro-area Bridge/Structures team. Qualified candidates must have 3-5 years of current experience in designing bridges of various types and sizes, including seismic design, and contract document preparation in accordance with the AASHTO / ODOT - WSDOT bridge design guidelines. Must be proficient in typical structural analysis (understand free-body diagrams) and use of design software; AutoCAD 2007/Civil 3D/LDD and/or Microstation/Inroads desired. Good written and oral communication skills required. MSCE, PE license, and/or registration as a structural engineer a plus.
